How to Get a Library Card<\/strong>
Library cards are available to California residents, with a photo ID and proof of current address. Minors, under the age of 18, are required to have a parent or legal guardian present to be issued a library card.

Fines & Fees<\/strong>
All fines are 20 cents per item, per day. Fines & fees can be paid by visiting the library in-person (cash, check, & credit card are accepted), or through the online payment system here<\/a><\/strong>. Digital items do not accrue fines or fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How many physical items can I borrow?<\/strong>
Library cards may checkout a total of 50 physical items at a time. New library cards, for the first month, may checkout 10 physical items at a time. A maximum of 15 physical holds may be placed at a time.

Is there a difference between physical and digital items?<\/strong>
Yes. Your library card gives you access to 10 digital items, at a time, for loan (eBook and\/or eAudiobook). A maximum of 10 holds may be placed on items in the digital library. To access digital books or digital audiobooks, please click here<\/a>.

Courtesy Renewal<\/strong>
We are pleased to introduce a new benefit to your account, Courtesy-Renewals. Now, many of your physical items will automatically renew 3 days before their due date. Accounts with e-mail notifications are automatically enrolled. All eligible items will be renewed automatically, up to 4 times per item.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following are not eligible for courtesy renewal:
Lucky Day Books, Lucky Day DVDs, Inter-Library Loans, Items that have a request (These items will maintain their original due dates and overdue fees will still apply.)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
